This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.
• In this role, reporting directly to the Head of Financial Control, you will be instrumental in guiding the company's financial performance.
• You will actively engage in the monthly and yearly closing activities alongside the accounting team.
• Generate monthly management reports, including P&L analysis and KPI tracking.
• Examine discrepancies between actual outcomes, budgets, and forecasts.
• Play a key role in the budgeting and reforecasting efforts, collaborating closely with department leaders.
• Conduct analyses of profitability by product, project, or business segment.
• Monitor and evaluate operational expenses while proposing measures for optimization.
• Create and maintain dashboards for effective performance assessment.
• Proactively recommend enhancements for reporting tools and financial processes.
• Participate in the rollout of new systems (BI, ERP).
• Assist operational managers in budget oversight and performance comprehension.
• Conduct ad-hoc studies and analyses as requested by senior management.
• You possess a Master's degree (or equivalent) in Finance, Controlling, or Audit from a recognized Business School, University, or similar institution.
• You have 2 to 4 years of proven experience in a comparable position, preferably within a corporate setting or an audit firm (experience with Big 4 is advantageous).
• Proficient in Google Sheets (including advanced functions, pivot tables, and modeling).
• Familiarity with an ERP system (such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics...) is a significant asset.
• Experience with Business Intelligence tools (like Power BI, Tableau) is highly valued.
• Strong understanding of both general and cost accounting principles.
• Professional fluency in English (both written and spoken) is essential.
• You are recognized for your meticulousness, analytical abilities, and capacity to synthesize information.
• With a proactive and inquisitive nature, you are solution-focused and willing to take initiative.
• You exhibit outstanding interpersonal skills and enjoy teamwork and engaging with diverse stakeholders.
• Capable of working independently and effectively prioritizing your tasks.
