This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, monthly forecasts, long-term planning, and ad hoc financial analyses.
• Develop and sustain financial models at the unit level for the opening of new locations, unit economics, labor strategies, and pricing.
• Collaborate with business leaders to formulate assumptions, verify forecasts, and enhance the accuracy of projections.
• Track business performance to identify financial risks and opportunities.
• Act as a financial partner to leaders across various functions.
• Convert financial results into actionable recommendations for the business.
• Challenge existing assumptions and promote data-driven decision-making.
• Deliver analyses to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
• Develop deal models, support financial due diligence, and assist in post-merger integration and synergy tracking.
• Perform competitive benchmarking analyses and set financial performance targets.
• Create monthly reporting packages, KPI dashboards, variance analyses, and presentations for executives and the Board.
• Evaluate sales, labor costs, cost of goods sold, operating expenses, and margins at the unit level.
• Enhance complex Excel models and automate reporting processes.
• Collaborate with the Accounting team during month-end close to ensure alignment between results and forecasts.
• A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or a related discipline.
• Over 5 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, consulting, investment banking, public accounting, or a similarly analytical position.
• Previous experience in M&A and/or private equity is essential, including deal modeling, due diligence, or FP&A/value-creation work for portfolio companies.
• Expertise in Excel and financial modeling is required, with advanced skills demonstrated.
• Capable of independently constructing and auditing complex models, including three-statement modeling, LBO/accretion-dilution, unit-level economics, and scenario/sensitivity analyses.
• Familiarity with AI modeling, SQL, and other BI tools is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to forge relationships and influence cross-functional, non-financial stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
• Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a dynamic and ambiguous environment.
