Founding Senior Data Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Design and establish our BigQuery environment

• Implement dbt as the main platform for our transformation logic

• Develop dimensional models for essential business entities

• Set up the native Firestore-to-BigQuery integration

• Collaborate with source-system owners, the analytics team, and engineering teams

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of practical experience in data engineering

• Extensive hands-on expertise with BigQuery

• Profound hands-on experience with dbt

• Solid understanding of dimensional modeling principles

• Proficient in SQL

• Experience in designing ingestion pipelines from various source types

• Exceptional technical communication skills

• Willingness to be the inaugural dedicated data engineer
