Founding Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Integrate analytics and user research to uncover user requirements, inspire ideation, and spearhead product enhancements.

• Suggest practical solutions and assess both technical efforts and business implications.

• Participate in high-level strategic choices. Assist in defining both short-term and long-term roadmaps.

• Manage features from start to finish: encompassing problem identification, UI/UX design, implementation, testing, and iteration.

• Create user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity screens using Figma, paying attention to every detail—from information architecture to micro-interactions and transitions.

• Determine key metrics that your solutions should enhance and take responsibility for achieving those goals.

• Write clean, efficient, and thoroughly tested code on iOS (Swift, SwiftUI) and/or backend (Go, Node.js).

• Evaluate the technical, user, and business repercussions of the features you deliver.

• Contribute to and maintain best practices in code quality, architecture, and development methodologies.

• Help in the development and enhancement of our design system.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient programming skills in iOS (Swift/SwiftUI), with over 4 years of experience.

• Product-focused mindset: you are dedicated to understanding user needs, think in terms of metrics, and make decisions based on data.

• Capable of quickly prototyping as well as building production-level systems.

• Strong UI/UX design capabilities: able to transition from wireframes to refined, high-fidelity screens. Proficiency in Figma is essential.

• Highly analytical: you rigorously test your hypotheses and allow data to inform your priorities.

• Passionate about B2C mobile applications and possess a proven history of delivering impactful features or products.

• Highly motivated, self-sufficient, and results-driven.

• Fluent in English (French is an asset).
