📋 Description

• Convert technical specifications into comprehensive backend designs that develop tier 1 scalable systems, ensuring a delightful experience for customers.

• Take charge of fostering innovation, maintainability, enhancing performance, scalability, and constructing headless systems within tight deadlines.

• Oversee backend engineering and tackle complex challenges such as: guaranteeing optimal schema design, achieving 100% uptime, and ensuring top-tier security.

• Credit scoring system → what is the most effective way to gamify the credit scoring process for our clients while maximizing ROI on lending decisions?

• Invoice matching algorithm → what is the best method to accurately match invoices to deposits at scale when we have limited information?

• Payment orchestration → how can we most effectively optimize our payment orchestration to reduce costs and enhance our margins?

• Analytics system → how can we establish an analytics system that monitors all pertinent metrics?

• Integrate our technology with the following external systems: Payment processors such as Stripe, open banking platforms like Plaid, accounting systems like QuickBooks and Economic. Bonus points for including GitHub links to applications you have developed in your application.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in Python.

• At least 4 years of experience within the AWS ecosystem.

• A year or more of experience with banking integrations is preferred but not mandatory.

• A year or more of experience with accounting integrations is preferred but not mandatory.

• At least 1 year of experience with payment gateways and processors, such as Stripe.

• Experience in backend development and familiarity with various technologies (MQs, caches, architectural patterns, etc.).

• Proficient in writing tests (Unit / Integration / Performance).

• Hands-on experience with performance and optimization issues, showcasing the ability to diagnose and prevent such problems.

• Exceptional attention to detail with a strong focus on scalable systems.

• Proficient with CI/CD tools; we utilize GitHub Actions and AWS CodeDeploy.

• Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles.

• Experience using Postman.
