This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• Assist the founder in adhering to legal and operational compliance standards, especially within Swedish startup regulations and frameworks.
• Conduct research and oversee compliance matters related to: Employees, Freelancers/contractors, International workers, Employment classifications.
• Ensure that contracts, documentation, and internal processes are compliant.
• Keep abreast of legal requirements and operational risks pertinent to startups.
• Perform research on: Payroll systems and providers, HR platforms, Legal frameworks, International hiring solutions, Operational tools and software.
• Compile findings into concise recommendations for leadership.
• Identify operational inefficiencies and suggest scalable solutions.
• Manage email communications and prioritize critical messages.
• Draft professional emails, follow-ups, and external correspondence.
• Organize meetings, follow-ups, and internal action items.
• Ensure that the founder remains focused on high-priority tasks.
• Conduct outreach to psychologists, experts, and potential collaborators.
• Assist in coordinating partnership discussions and follow-ups.
• Promote growth initiatives through proactive networking and communication.
• Support recruitment and hiring activities.
• Coordinate interviews and communications with candidates.
• Aid in developing hiring systems and talent pipelines.
• Research compensation structures and payroll solutions.
• Assist in establishing scalable people operations systems.
• Help create processes where none currently exist.
• Manage cross-functional operational tasks.
• Support execution across various departments.
• Serve as a trusted right-hand partner to the founder.
• Proficiency in AI tools and AI optimization.
• Background in legal matters and legal research.
• Experience working in startups.
