Forensic Architect – Global Construction

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Conduct thorough investigations of the built environment, identifying underlying issues, and delivering independent expert analysis on various design and construction disputes.

• Oversee and coordinate forensic investigations, offering consultation and expert witness services, as well as preparing and presenting technical papers.

• Track team performance metrics including utilization rates, project status, billable hours, and marketing efforts.

• Assign incoming tasks after a detailed evaluation of which expert’s skills are most suitable for the job at hand.

• Ensure team quality and execution by providing technical and managerial guidance on methodology, analysis, supporting documentation, client interactions, and production of deliverables.

• Review and audit personal work products and those of others to ensure high-quality standards.

• Organize and manage case documents; establish and maintain both physical and digital libraries for documents, retrieving files as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in architecture and a minimum of one professional architectural or engineering license.

• The candidate must be capable of obtaining licensure in multiple state jurisdictions.

• At least 10+ years of field experience in the design industry.

• Preferred experience in Design Management, Document Production, CAD and Revit, Construction Administration, Contracts, and Client Management.

• Exceptional technical writing skills are required.

• Proven experience in collaborating with and leading teams.

• Ability to work independently and remotely, with the flexibility to travel for client engagements as needed.
