This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
• Conducting Title Review for states within our legal jurisdiction
• Emphasizing relevant experience in Title Review and Title Curative issues
• Effectively managing multiple responsibilities and prioritizing tasks
• Communicating title-related concerns through a client case management system
• Evaluating title documents and legal property descriptions
• Researching and navigating online county records
• Consistently maintaining daily production levels
• Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively within a team
• Background in default operations, Title Review, and Title Curative matters
• Experience in analyzing title documents and legal property descriptions
• Proficient in researching and navigating online county records
• Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines under pressure
• Self-driven and goal-oriented with a strong ambition to excel
• Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and listening)
• Capable of drafting professional emails and clearly communicating title issues within a client case management platform
• Ability to critically analyze complex title matters
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in title review is required
• Familiarity with Foreclosure processes and their relation to Title is preferred
• Skilled in accurate data entry and verification with a high level of precision
• Comfortable exercising decisive judgment with minimal supervision
• Able to review and compare county Tax/GIS maps, liens, judgments, leases, Deeds, agreements, Security Instruments, contracts, surveys, and plat books to confirm correct legal descriptions and ownership
• Knowledgeable about Testate/Intestate succession and reviewing Probate documents within the title chain to ensure all interests are accounted for
• Capable of identifying and entering all parties requiring notice of Foreclosure (Non-Judicial or Judicial) into a case management system
• Proficient in articulating chain of title issues, priority concerns, statute of limitations issues, missing assignments, legal description challenges, etc., to clients in a clear and concise manner
• Able to recognize title defects and develop curative solutions
• Comfortable reviewing Gap/Updated title reports along with supporting documentation, ensuring all parties are included in Foreclosure proceedings
• Familiar with Foreclosure Servicing platforms such as Black Knight, Tempo, etc.
• Skilled in identifying Mobile Homes and understanding the proper process for de-titling them for government conveyance
• Proficient in locating obituaries online and skip tracing identified Heirs
• Comfortable communicating with Tax offices, 911 addressing offices, Probate offices, Deed record offices, etc., to gather necessary information
• Able to maintain daily production levels consistently
• Notaries or individuals willing to become a notary are preferred
• Technologically adept with MS Office Suite, particularly MS Outlook, MS Word, and MS Excel, as well as other electronic databases (Excel skills include adding/deleting rows and columns, sorting and filtering, searching data within a workbook, and other basic formatting)
