This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• The Fire Consultant will work on a “sub-contract” basis.
• The Fire Consultant will provide an exceptional fire risk assessment report and will serve as a primary point of contact for clients during the site visit, ensuring they positively shape the customer's perception of the company.
• The Fire Consultant will conduct fire risk assessments for clients, offering necessary recommendations both verbally during the site visit and in the formal report.
• Demonstrated prior experience in carrying out Fire Risk Assessments.
• Accredited at the “Member” level by the Institute of Fire Engineers or the Institute of Fire Safety Managers.
• Strong literacy and written communication skills.
• Exceptional verbal communication abilities.
• Capable of planning and organizing workloads to meet service delivery timelines.
• Possession of a full UK driving licence.
• Comprehensive understanding of current legislation pertaining to The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.
• Thorough knowledge of the relevant British Standards related to fire and life safety systems.
• Experience in performing assessments across all building types (Commercial, Industrial, and Domestic) – 2 redacted FRA reports will be requested.
• Confident and self-aware with the capacity to communicate professionally.
• Ability to produce high-quality work and deliver top-tier reports.
• Effective organizational skills to ensure timely report delivery to the end user.
• Exhibit industry-leading fire safety knowledge to facilitate a compliant and superior fire risk assessment.
• Consistently produce accurate and efficient paperwork.
• Collaborate with the admin team to create effective working practices.
• Ensure best practice methods are employed in the execution of fire risk assessments.
• Always be fully accountable for the quality of service provided to fire risk assessment clients and staff.
