Financial System Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the architectural design, roadmap development, and governance for Costpoint and its integration with enterprise systems.

• Act as the top technical authority for Costpoint configurations, data models, security architecture, workflows, and custom solutions.

• Create, implement, and manage integrations between Costpoint and both internal and external systems (such as HRIS, financial systems, procurement tools, data warehouses, etc.). Design scalable and secure integration frameworks utilizing APIs, middleware, ETL processes, and event-driven mechanisms.

• Write SQL and PL/SQL scripts to facilitate reporting, data validation, performance optimization, and system automation.

• Function as the main point of contact with Deltek Support to engineer solutions, handle escalations, and investigate complex issues.

• Address integration failures, data inconsistencies, and system performance issues, ensuring prompt and effective resolution.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams (Finance, Payroll, HR, IT, Procurement, Program Control) to gather requirements and deliver scalable, reliable technical solutions that align with strategic business goals.

• Assist with system upgrades, patches, enhancements, and associated data interface updates.

• Ensure strong data integrity across systems through thorough testing, documentation, quality controls, and monitoring practices.

• Provide technical guidance and best practices for Costpoint integrations, database optimization, system architecture, and change management processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.

• Significant hands-on experience with Deltek Costpoint, including configuration, data structures, workflows, integrations, and reporting.

• Advanced SQL and PL/SQL expertise, encompassing query optimization, performance tuning, complex troubleshooting, and sophisticated reporting techniques.

• Strong experience in designing integrations using APIs, web services, middleware platforms, or cloud-based integration technologies.

• Familiarity with database platforms such as Oracle and SQL Server.

• In-depth understanding of enterprise finance and procurement workflows within Costpoint.

• Proven track record of designing and leading implementations, upgrades, and modernization initiatives.

• Excellent analytical skills with the capacity to diagnose and resolve intricate technical issues.

• Outstanding communication abilities, capable of conveying technical strategies to both technical and non-technical audiences.
