Financial Director

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Oversee financial management across the company, emphasizing US operations and compliance.

• Develop and sustain executive-level reporting for P&L, Cash Flow, and Balance Sheet.

• Manage cash flow, runway, and the payment schedule to ensure business stability and scalability.

• Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and scenario modeling processes to facilitate growth decisions.

• Collaborate with external US accountants, auditors, and tax advisors to guarantee accuracy and compliance.

• Propel IPO / pre-IPO readiness by enhancing reporting quality, controls, and financial discipline.

• Work closely with leadership and business teams to assess investments, expansion strategies, and cost efficiency.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in senior finance positions (Finance Director / Head of Finance / CFO-level scope).

• Strong hands-on knowledge of the US market, including finance, accounting, tax, and regulatory fundamentals.

• Demonstrated experience in supporting IPO or pre-IPO initiatives (reporting, audit readiness, controls).

• Experience in a rapidly growing IT company or startup environment characterized by speed and constant change.

• Proficient financial modeling and analysis capabilities using Excel / Google Sheets.

• Practical experience with AI tools for automating reporting, analysis, and finance workflows.

• English proficiency: Upper-Intermediate+ (you will engage daily with US partners, documentation, and external advisors).
