• Aids in the preparation of financial statements, budget reports, forecasts, and annual summaries.
• Gathers data and generates reports in accordance with established organizational accounting protocols.
• Assembles financial, operational, and specialized reports/studies as assigned.
• Develops and presents analyses for ongoing and proposed projects/studies, including cost assessments and financial projection models.
• Contributes to the creation of short- and long-term strategic financial operational plans.
• Validates department accounting entries, journals, and postings.
• Clarifies organizational policies and procedures to department accounting and finance personnel.
• Serves as a backup for department accounting and purchasing activities.
• Equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related business field.
• One year of experience in financial roles.
• Proficient in: Accounting, Budgeting Methods, Cost Accounting Systems, Financial Modeling, Financial Planning, Financial Practices, Financial Software, GAAP, Policies & Procedures, Preparation of Financial Reports, Spreadsheets, and Statistical Methods.
• Up to 22 days of vacation.
