Finance Solution Architect – D365 F&O

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Oversee the deployment of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance, Project Operations (“D365”) projects, encompassing analysis, design, development, testing, training, cutover, operations, and support.

• Manage client interactions and facilitate workshops to identify the business requirements necessary for the successful implementation of the D365 solution.

• Ensure that these requirements are documented in Business Scenario Documents, Functional Requirements Documents, and User Stories in accordance with project specifications and recorded in Azure DevOps.

• Conduct Conference Room Pilots to demonstrate the D365 solution to clients.

• Develop deliverable examples for team members, including Design documents for intricate customizations and report modifications, as well as data mapping and importing data into D365 utilizing data entities.

• Manage field mapping between D365 and other integrated systems.

• Review design documents for customizations, reports for D365, data mapping, and integration mapping prepared by other team members.

• Ensure that design documents address boundary conditions and encompass thorough test scenarios.

• Supervise the configuration of D365 for Finance and Project Operations as needed.

• Guarantee a high-quality solution by providing leadership in testing activities, including functional testing, integration testing, and automated testing using the Regression suite automation test tool.

• Perform data mapping, data migration, and data import into D365.

• Lead training sessions for D365 and related systems for clients and fellow Unify Dots team members.

• Direct pre-go live cutover and post go live support for clients, managing any issues and escalating to Microsoft as necessary.

• Provide pre-sales support when needed.

• Offer estimations for customizations, report enhancements, workflows, batch jobs, upgrades, integrations, and data migration tasks.

• Conduct 2 training sessions annually at Unify University.

• Write 3-4 D365 ERP functional blog articles each year for the Unify Dots blog.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree.

• A minimum of 8+ years of experience in implementing Dynamics 365 Finance and Dynamics AX2012R3.

• Proficiency in D365 Finance, including GL, AP, AR, FA, Expense Management, and PMA is essential.

• Knowledge of Manufacturing, Inventory, and Master Planning is required.

• Conversational proficiency in the English language.

• CA or CPA certification would be a beneficial addition.
