Finance Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Oversee the monthly financial closing process, which includes documenting incurred costs, examining journal entries, reconciling account balances, and generating reports.

• Engage in the formulation and establishment of accounting policies, procedures, and operational strategies.

• Evaluate and execute process and system modifications.

• Ensure adherence to internal control policies within a SOX environment.

• Work collaboratively with external auditors to achieve favorable audit outcomes and compliance.

• Assess statutory accounting practices and review regulations and guidance to ensure the accurate application of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.

• Track and project cash flow liquidity to support financial obligations.

• Collaborate with department heads in Sales, Marketing, HR, and Product to clarify financial performance and manage expenditures.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline is mandatory.

• Over 5 years of accounting experience is required.

• Significant experience with accounting software and data analysis is essential.

• Proven team management capabilities.

• Excellent presentation skills with the ability to convey complex financial terminology into clear, actionable insights for non-finance stakeholders.

• A master's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is an advantage.

• Chartered Accountant designation is preferred.
