Finance Director

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Oversee the annual operating planning, forecasting, and budgeting activities.

• Deliver financial insights and strategic recommendations to executive management.

• Create financial models to assess business performance and strategic ventures.

• Facilitate monthly and quarterly business evaluations.

• Spot business risks and potential opportunities through financial analysis.

• Collaborate with business leaders to enhance profitability and operational efficiency.

• Set KPIs and performance management systems.

• Present financial outcomes and recommendations to senior management.

• Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals.

• Ensure compliance with financial governance and internal control standards.

• Assist in strategic projects, investments, and business case developments.

• Support ambitious growth targets while maintaining forecast precision and financial discipline.

• Balance enterprise growth aspirations with actual market performance and business realities.

• Integrate financial planning across various sales channels and product lines.

• Facilitate quicker and more efficient business decisions through financial insights and forecasting models.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of advancing experience in Finance, FP&A, Corporate Finance, or Strategic Finance.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

• Previous leadership experience in managing finance teams (e.g., as a Manager).

• Proficiency in forecasting, financial modeling, portfolio planning, and P&L management.

• Demonstrated ability to sway business decisions using data-driven financial insights.

• Proven track record in driving growth, profitability, process optimization, or automation initiatives.

• Experience in the insurance industry is preferred; background in banking or financial services will also be considered.

• Proficient in English communication skills.
