Field Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Diagnose and resolve network performance challenges, aid in outage solutions, and pinpoint opportunities for enhancing operations.

• Implement and support critical projects, ensuring precise tracking, reporting, and communication.

• Suggest process enhancements and help in the creation of documentation, job aids, and procedures.

• Keep abreast of advancing technologies, systems, and organizational standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience in the field.

• 2–4 years of experience in field operations, maintenance, or related technical positions.

• 2–4 years of experience within wireless telecommunications or a related area.

• Fundamental understanding of electronics and telecommunications systems (RF, fiber, microwave, Radio Access Networks (RAN), 5G New Radio (NR), Base Station technology, Wireless Backhaul, and/or power systems).

• Preferred experience with Ericsson and/or Nokia RAN equipment.

• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

• Strong attention to detail with the capacity to handle multiple priorities.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and standard computer applications.

• Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

• Flexibility in schedule to include nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call rotations.

• Physical ability to lift 50–70 pounds and work outdoors in various weather conditions.

• Experience in Disaster Recovery Planning.
