Field Service Technician III

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Installs, tests, and repairs both new and refurbished TechnipFMC products (equipment and tools).

• Addresses customer comments, requests, and complaints effectively.

• Provides sales support, ensuring that the customer is well-informed about all aspects of the job.

• Completes Field Service Orders (FSO) and Field Spare Parts Tickets (FSPT), taking responsibility for the timely submission of these and other revenue-generating documents.

• Ensures that all quality concerns and documentation (including equipment and procedural defects) are communicated to Service Management.

• Fulfills field documentation requirements upon completing each service job.

• Offers "Project Support" as needed, addressing project issues promptly to minimize downtime.

• Prepares and finalizes safety-related documentation, actively promoting safe work practices.

• Guides others in completing tasks according to established procedures and applicable codes and/or standards.

• May act as the on-site supervisor for the field service crew and provide reports back to Service Management.

• Assists as needed in developing procedural requirements for current and upcoming jobs.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or an equivalent technical diploma.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a field service technician role.

• Advanced knowledge in one or more of the following areas: electrical systems, subsea equipment, hydraulic equipment, mechanical tools, and structural steel.

• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings.

• Capable of performing moderately complex calculations.

• Competent in understanding, troubleshooting, explaining, and teaching others about the technical tools and instruments necessary for the role.

• Familiarity with applicable theories, practices, and accepted internal business processes and procedures.
