Field Service Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Installs, troubleshoots, and provides technical maintenance for ATMs, retail, and other equipment within a designated customer and/or product area.

• Handles all incident responses, preventive maintenance, IMAC/R, and customer training duties as follows: Incident Handling: Utilizes diagnostic tools to conduct troubleshooting through a thorough analysis of hardware and software failures.

• Executes hardware repairs at the component level.

• Cleans and adjusts mechanical components as necessary.

• Configures and installs relevant software.

• Preventive Maintenance: Conducts routine inspections following documented procedures.

• Refills consumables as instructed.

• IMAC/R: Installs, moves, adds, changes, and removes hardware and software products.

• Customer Training: Teaches and trains customers on the usage and operation of installed hardware and software.

• Additionally performs the following: Process Tasks: Receives incident briefings and orders from the dispatch function.

• Updates the dispatch team on any unforeseen issues encountered.

• Provides comprehensive briefings on all completed activities.

• Proactively informs customers about status, progress, and results.

• Continuous Process Improvement: Monitors technical or process issues, notifies the manager and other relevant personnel, and suggests improvement measures.

• Actively engages with corporate tools and processes for knowledge sharing and information collection.

⛳️ Requirements

• Educational background or equivalent work experience is necessary.

• A minimum of 2-4 years of relevant experience or a comparable combination of education and experience in Field Service.

• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

• A valid driver's license and a driving record that meets DN's fleet criteria.
