This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
β’ Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair advanced analytical and scientific instruments.
β’ Provide exceptional field service to clients in research, industrial, and healthcare environments.
β’ Identify equipment problems down to the component level.
β’ Address customer requests with minimal notice.
β’ Train and assist customers in operating equipment.
β’ Record service activities and generate comprehensive reports.
β’ Achieve customer satisfaction objectives.
β’ Operate independently while following safety protocols and maintaining quality standards.
β’ Advanced Degree with no prior experience required, or a Bachelor's Degree with 2 years of hands-on technical experience in installing, troubleshooting, and repairing complex analytical instruments.
β’ Preferred academic backgrounds include Electronics, Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, or a related technical discipline.
β’ Strong skills in electronics and mechanical troubleshooting, particularly at the component level.
β’ Experience with ultra-high vacuum systems and high-voltage equipment is preferred.
β’ Excellent written and verbal communication skills for customer service.
β’ Strong organizational and time-management skills.
β’ Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and service management software.
β’ Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and schematics.
β’ Valid driver's license is required.
β’ Willingness to travel up to 50β75% within the assigned territory.
β’ Capability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various laboratory settings.
β’ Fluency in both French and English is mandatory.
β’ Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.

β’ Ability to respond promptly to customer needs.
β’ Experience in documenting service activities and preparing detailed reports.
