This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Implement seasonal go-to-market and service strategies throughout the New York, Vermont, and Connecticut regions.
• Propel brand growth, awareness, and sell-through via retail support, community involvement, and field activations.
• Assist retail partners with in-person store visits, product demonstrations, and engagement on the sales floor.
• Provide product presentations to educate and inspire both retail staff and consumers.
• Execute merchandising and promotional initiatives utilizing product and point-of-purchase materials.
• Connect with retail and community partners to foster excitement and awareness of Altra.
• Represent Altra at local and select national events, races, and expos.
• Facilitate consumer trials and education through community activations and experiential opportunities.
• Cultivate long-term relationships that promote advocacy and repeat sell-through.
• Collaborate with Sales Representatives to create and implement territory service plans.
• Work together with Field Service teammates on educational initiatives and activations.
• Collect and disseminate insights regarding product performance, competitor activities, and industry trends.
• Complete activity reporting in a timely manner using designated tools such as Repsly.
• Maintain field assets and demo footwear effectively.
• Oversee travel, expenses, promotional materials, and product seeding.
• Adhere to deadlines for projects, reports, and action items.
• Report directly to the Regional Field Service Manager.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in specialty retail, ideally in running or outdoor specialty.
• At least 2 years of experience in marketing, sales, or field service.
• Familiarity with the Altra product lineup.
• Experience fitting and selling technical footwear.
• Strong skills in time management, planning, and organization.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
• Capability to work independently while effectively collaborating with a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft applications, including Outlook.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to take initiative.
• Reliable transportation is a must.
• Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned territory.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends when necessary.
