This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland.
• Conduct on-site installation, maintenance, and repair of company equipment throughout the southern region of ROI, adjacent areas, and Northern Ireland.
• Efficiently diagnose technical problems, implementing corrective measures to restore equipment functionality and reduce customer downtime.
• Provide an exceptional customer experience, serving as the main technical representative and fostering robust professional relationships.
• Recognize and advocate for service opportunities, such as upgrades, replacement parts, and revenue-generating activities that align with customer requirements.
• Independently manage daily schedules and travel arrangements, ensuring prompt arrival at customer locations and optimal use of working hours.
• Keep precise service records, including job reports, parts utilized, and follow-up actions within company systems.
• Adhere to safety regulations, company protocols, and customer site requirements consistently.
• Collaborate with internal teams to provide insights on persistent issues, product performance, and customer feedback.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by suggesting enhancements to service efficiency, customer satisfaction, and operational effectiveness.
• Maintain company tools, equipment, and vehicle to a high standard, ensuring readiness for daily field tasks.
• Demonstrated experience in a field service, maintenance, or technical support position, preferably with electro-mechanical or similar equipment.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities, capable of quickly identifying faults and implementing effective solutions.
• Technical expertise in mechanical, electrical, or electronic systems, supported by a relevant qualification: Must hold or be willing to obtain A+/N+ accreditation within the first 12 months of employment.
• Excellent communication and customer-facing skills, with the capability to articulate technical issues clearly and professionally.
• Commercial insight, with the confidence to identify service opportunities and contribute to revenue enhancement.
• Ability to work autonomously, effectively manage time, and prioritize tasks across various customer sites.
• Possess a full, clean driving license, with a willingness to travel throughout southern Ireland, surrounding areas, and into Northern Ireland as needed.
• Strong organizational abilities, including the accurate completion of service reports, documentation, and parts usage logs.
• Comfortable working in diverse environments, including customer facilities, workshops, and field locations.
• Commitment to safety, consistently adhering to company procedures and site-specific requirements.
• Embrace technology to enhance efficiencies within the role.
• Capable of working independently, with minimal supervision.
• 25 days of vacation, increasing to 30 days with length of service, in addition to bank holidays.
• Mobile role across Southern Ireland, with occasional travel to Northern Ireland.
• Compensation package includes a base salary of €38,500 per annum, a car allowance of €6,500 per year or a company car, and additional earnings through commission - potential to earn €1,000 per month in commission (on target, not guaranteed).
• Pension plan with employer matching contributions up to 6% of basic salary (individuals must contribute a minimum of 1.75% to the scheme).
