This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Install, configure, and maintain equipment solutions at customer facilities.
• Be a creative problem solver capable of identifying, analyzing, maintaining, and repairing complex mechanical equipment.
• Address challenging customer inquiries regarding product features.
• Conduct start-up testing and deliver customer training on product capabilities, features, and general maintenance.
• Establish and nurture strong, trust-based relationships with customers.
• Collaborate closely with other team members to ensure exceptional customer service.
• Ensure the execution of defined service and installation calls for assigned customers to meet goals.
• Assist in managing customer installation projects.
• Provide on-site installation, validation, and commissioning of Automatic Packaging Solutions Systems.
• Engage in hands-on troubleshooting, service, and repairs, including upgrades and modifications.
• Deliver on-site training to customers.
• Schedule tasks at customer job sites.
• Quickly and effectively troubleshoot issues using technical drawings and documentation.
• Perform routine maintenance and emergency services as needed.
• Commit to continuous learning, including customer operational processes, packaging designs, and technical specifications.
• Manage support requests and issue resolution.
• Oversee spare parts management for end customers.
• Stay informed of industry and market trends.
• Handle documentation, reporting, and administrative tasks related to project installations and preventative maintenance.
• Perform basic clerical and administrative duties such as emails, expense reports, travel arrangements, and technical reports.
• Communicate responsively and productively with company and customer personnel.
• Comply with all company and local customer safety requirements and protocols.
• Work towards achieving set performance KPIs.
• Bachelor’s degree or technical education, or at least 3 years of experience in troubleshooting electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities with a customer-first approach.
• Proficient in using mechanical and electrical hand tools; capable of reading technical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Detail-oriented and resilient under stress.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Flexible and adaptable to change.
• Comfortable working independently while managing time with minimal supervision.
• Customer service-oriented with the capacity to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Innovative, self-assured in decision-making, and possesses a hands-on mentality.
• Positive attitude and ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office; experience with reporting tools or service software is a plus.
• Fluent in English and the local language, both spoken and written.
