Field Service Engineer – Radiology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Install and adjust Agfa and third-party products (DR and CR).

• Diagnose issues with Agfa and third-party products, including performing repairs and replacements both on-site and remotely.

• Collaborate with R&D and HQ for problem-solving and risk assessment.

• Provide training to customers.

• Escalate issues to 2nd and 3rd tier support when necessary.

• Document service incidents.

• Oversee and conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on Agfa products, ensuring compliance with our procedures.

• Assist both internal and external customers (e.g., users, freelancers, colleagues from various business sectors, HQ, etc.) with technical inquiries and issues, on-site and remotely.

• Spot opportunities for up-selling Agfa Services and Products and relay these opportunities to the sales team as necessary.

• Manage the return of equipment and parts in a timely and compliant manner according to company procedures.

⛳️ Requirements

• University degree in Engineering, Electronics, Biomedical, Mechatronics, or a related field.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the installation and maintenance of medical devices/healthcare products, particularly X-ray/DR systems.

• Knowledge of networking and remote diagnosis software systems.

• Familiarity with safely working with electromechanical systems.

• Proficiency in Spanish (native level) and English (at least B2 level); knowledge of Valencian/Catalan is a plus.

• Strong proactivity, flexibility, independence, and initiative, with the ability to adapt to changing schedules and embrace new challenges, while maintaining a focus on customer relationships and a positive attitude.

• Exceptional attention to detail, initiative, self-motivation, and strong communication skills.

• Willingness to travel daily for business purposes.

• Capable of diagnosing basic electronic faults to component level, coupled with excellent analytical skills.

• Good understanding of X-Ray/DR systems and Windows 7/10.

• Valid driving license and readiness to travel daily within the country and occasionally to other European countries (Agfa).
