Field Service Engineer – Industrial Inkjet

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Execution of customer projects in the digital printing sector.

• Installation and commissioning of Agfa printing systems, which includes setup and systems integration.

• Training of machine operators, conducting acceptance tests in accordance with relevant guidelines, and overseeing the handover process.

• Repair, modification, and maintenance of inkjet printing systems.

• Diagnosis of intricate technical issues and general problem scenarios, including fault analysis, decision-making, and troubleshooting.

• Independently resolving issues via remote service or on-site visits, along with documenting the solutions.

• Providing technical consultation and support to customers, sales teams, and management.

• Preparing internal documentation such as service orders and travel expense reports.

• Adhering to ISO processes and instructions.

• A degree or vocational training in mechatronics, precision engineering, or a related technical field, along with several years of professional experience.

• Proficiency in color management and application techniques across various substrates.

• Capable of working independently, being solution-oriented, and managing time pressure while upholding high quality standards.

• Strong service orientation with a dedicated focus on fulfilling customer needs.

• Exceptional communication abilities.

• Adaptability and flexibility in response to changing requirements and working conditions.

• Proficient in German and possess good English language skills.

• Willingness to travel frequently.
