This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.
• Overseeing or managing the technical elements and quality of overhauls and service activities according to technical specifications.
• Engaging in discussions regarding repairs and methods with engineers and the field service team.
• Identifying critical factors and defining the scope and associated risks.
• Delivering mechanical technical guidance and supervision both off-site and on-site during maintenance activities (inspections, revisions, commissioning) at customer-owned Power Generation Facilities utilizing Gas Turbines produced by Siemens, Ansaldo, Alstom, General Electric, and MHI.
• Coordinating site operations such as planning, integrating, and monitoring resources along with providing technical assistance based on the agreed contractual work scope.
• Overseeing contract personnel and manpower by offering guidance, instructions, and monitoring quality and progress during Gas Turbine overhauls.
• A bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in rotating equipment, Gas Turbines engineering, and hands-on maintenance.
• Proficiency in understanding and applying mechanical drawings (including sections, construction, assembly drawings, P&ID, alignment specifications, flushing/blowing procedures, piping specifications, etc.).
• Strong English language skills.
