Field Service Engineer, France

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Provide outstanding on-site service and technical knowledge to clients utilizing sequencing and genomics equipment.

• Ensure instrument availability, prompt technical assistance, and effective solutions.

• Oversee the installation and upkeep of Illumina instruments at client locations.

• Serve as the liaison between the field team and internal support.

• Exhibit technical proficiency while installing, upgrading, repairing, and maintaining instrument systems.

• Manage and prioritize service requests efficiently.

• Build and sustain strong relationships with key clients.

• Represent the company in a professional, ethical, and moral manner at all times.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline.

• Alternatively, possess practical engineering experience in the industry.

• Capability to troubleshoot electromechanical, optical, robotic, and electronic systems.

• Familiarity with genomics, sequencing applications, laboratory settings, or related biomedical technologies is highly beneficial.

• Demonstrates accountability.

• Quickly establishes trust with clients and colleagues.

• Excels in a fast-paced environment.

• Proficient in both French and English.
