Field Service Engineer, Chromatography and Spectroscopy

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Offer on-site assistance to clients, encompassing installation, configuration, maintenance, and repair of both company and multi-vendor systems.

• Set up and enhance hardware, software, and network configurations at client locations.

• Identify and rectify technical and performance-related challenges in analytical instruments.

• Conduct preventive maintenance and corrective service tasks.

• Guide clients on optimal practices for system usage, maintenance, and configuration to boost performance and reliability.

• Actively pinpoint potential equipment or software concerns to reduce downtime and maintain business continuity.

• Provide fully integrated solutions (non-design role), which include peripherals, communications, operating systems, and application software.

• Serve as a technical resource for internal teams and handle product escalations as needed.

• Work collaboratively with Support, Sales, Marketing, and R&D teams to deliver efficient customer solutions.

• Facilitate technical training, workshops, and seminars for clients and internal teams.

• Mentor and train other field engineers when necessary.

• Execute on-site calibration for high-volume clients.

• Assist in lead qualification activities as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Biology, or a related scientific discipline.

• Proficient in English.

• A valid driver's license (mandatory).

• Willingness and capacity to travel frequently.
