Field Service Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Deliver field service assistance, offering troubleshooting and diagnostic advice in a friendly, professional, and timely manner to effectively resolve dealer issues.

• Perform onsite repairs and assist with maintenance tasks.

• Provide technical training to the dealer network and share feedback to enhance the quality of training materials.

• Create service reports and log interactions with partners in our Salesforce CRM system as well as in your weekly report.

• Communicate and collaborate through various platforms with our mechanics, technicians, and engineers to ensure that escalated issues are addressed promptly.

• Maintain proactive communication with colleagues in both the office and field to uphold service standards and ensure dealer satisfaction.

• Offer remote technical support, troubleshooting, and diagnostic assistance using various web-based platforms.

• Contribute to the enhancement of diagnostic tools and capabilities by providing in-depth feedback from the field.

• Accurately document diagnostic processes and repair actions for complex or unique fault cases.

• Identify and log quality issues with a strong focus on quality awareness.

• When necessary, draft, translate, and review service bulletins or service instructions.

• Provide guidance on the Partner Portal and onsite support with warranty administration processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or completion of a Motorcycle Apprenticeship with Advanced Training to Master Technician, or equivalent courses.

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant fieldwork experience.

• Native German speaker, proficient in English; knowledge of additional languages is advantageous.

• Certification to work on high-voltage systems is a plus.

• Competence in computer applications, including Microsoft Office and Atlassian platforms.

• Experienced in using industrial-standard electronic testing devices, instruments, and tools.

• Comprehensive understanding of motorcycles, automobiles, or electric vehicles is highly beneficial.

• Must demonstrate proficiency with computers, including the use of diagnostic tools and the ability to configure systems with new software.
