Field Service Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Zealand.

📋 Description

• Deliver expert installation, maintenance, and repair services for advanced analytical and spectroscopy equipment.

• Provide exceptional technical support while fostering strong relationships with customers in research institutions, universities, and industrial settings.

• Address complex challenges, perform preventive maintenance, and train users to ensure peak system performance.

• Play a vital role in essential scientific research and innovation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Advanced degree with 3 years of experience, or a bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience in installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and calibrating advanced analytical instruments.

• Preferred areas of study include Electronics, Physics, Engineering, Chemistry, or a related technical discipline.

• Continuous technical training and certifications are required.

• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills for both hardware and software issues.

• Excellent interpersonal communication abilities and a proven track record in building positive customer relationships.

• A valid driver's license and willingness to travel 25-40% of the time.

• Capability to work independently while also maintaining robust team collaboration.

• Availability to promptly respond to urgent customer requirements.
