Field Service Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands.

📋 Description

• You will be responsible for the installation, inspection, maintenance, repair, and commissioning of actuators and associated systems on-site.

• Troubleshooting, repairing, testing, and commissioning drives in the field.

• Modifying/upgrading drives in the field.

• Conducting inspections and status checks of Rotork drives.

• Performing mechanical and occasionally electrical installation of drives and related retrofit components, mounting flanges, and drive shafts in the workshop.

• Daily reporting of site visits for each assignment.

• Conducting risk assessments and preparing work instructions.

• Occasionally performing detailed surveys to gather mechanical data/dimensions.

• Ensuring accurate reporting and expense claims.

• Providing basic training to customers as needed.

• Identifying commercial opportunities with clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• MBO level 3 or 4 in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a comparable field.

• Experience in a service-oriented field role is a plus.

• Knowledge of valves, actuators, and digital control technology is an advantage.

• Proficient in both Dutch and English.

• Holder of VCA-VOL, NEN3140 (Qualified Person), ATEX 001/003 certifications.

• A valid driver’s license (B) and willingness to travel within the Netherlands.

• Independent, customer-oriented, and possess strong communication skills.

• (Residing within approximately 30 minutes travel distance from Hoogvliet.)
