This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Japan.
• Deliver exceptional customer support through on-site installation, maintenance, and repair of MKS equipment and systems.
• Ensure optimal operation of our equipment.
• Offer foundational operational training to customers.
• Comply with Field Service protocols and strive for operational excellence.
• Act as the company's representative with customers on both administrative and technical issues for assigned projects.
• Assist Sales by leveraging in-depth technical expertise and knowledge.
• Oversee and address technical escalations in collaboration with management and HQ Product teams.
• Respond with urgency and professionalism to guarantee customer satisfaction and success.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electronics, or Control Engineering.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in the Semiconductor industry; or a suitable combination of education and experience.
• Strong communication and documentation skills in both Japanese and English.
• Capability to work independently.
• Robust analytical, business, and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated with a proactive attitude towards problem-solving.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving high-tech environment.
• Proficiency in Chinese is advantageous (but not required).
