Field Reimbursement Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.

📋 Description

• Contribute to the patient support initiative for Purified Cortrophin Gel.

• Act as a partner in product access, concentrating on patient support, access, reimbursement, prior authorization, appeals, financial assistance, and related business matters.

• Communicate with the case management team to conduct benefit investigations.

• Provide education to healthcare providers regarding prior authorization and appeal procedures.

• Coordinate patient services effectively.

• Report to a director on the field reimbursement team for development and mentorship.

• Inform healthcare providers about insurance requirements for patient prescriptions.

• Collaborate with Hub case managers and in-network specialty pharmacies regarding prior authorization requirements and communication with healthcare providers and patients.

• Coordinate communication and activities with Nurse Access Specialist colleagues.

• Facilitate patient assistance, which includes copay and free goods support.

• Partner with managed care colleagues to comprehend policies and identify emerging trends.

• Collaborate with sales colleagues when appropriate and in accordance with Compliance policies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Relevant post-secondary education or applicable certifications.

• A minimum of 3–4 years of experience working with specialty medications in the pharmaceutical sector, a provider's office, or with an insurance payer.

• Proven expertise with pharmacy and medical benefits in a specialty disease market.

• Willingness to travel up to 25%, including some evening and weekend commitments.

• Familiarity with OIG guidance, HIPAA regulations, and FDA protocols.

• Strong collaboration skills with Hub partners and cross-functional colleagues.

• A sense of urgency in addressing critical patient access challenges.

• Ability to solve problems related to challenging access scenarios.

• Initiative to advance patient cases forward.
