This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Execute the external engagement strategy that aligns with the therapeutic portfolio.
• Implement the external engagement plan that corresponds with therapy area strategies.
• Identify External Experts, professional groups, decision-makers, and key stakeholders.
• Compliantly respond to unsolicited medical information requests.
• Disseminate crucial safety information to healthcare professionals.
• Engage in scientific exchanges with healthcare professionals regarding appropriate medicine usage.
• Present scientific data and pipeline updates to formulary committees and healthcare professionals.
• Maintain expertise in the dynamic scientific/therapeutic landscape as well as competitor medicines and vaccines.
• Attend scientific and medical conferences to gather insights on medical voice-of-the-customer.
• Support clinical development efforts, including GSK and investigator-sponsored studies.
• Collaborate with R&D personnel to enhance site performance.
• Provide insights into GSK's research interests and address inquiries related to research projects.
• Meet with steering committee members, advisory board members, consultants, and clinical research investigators.
• Deliver scientific training for GSK sales representatives.
• Train individual healthcare professionals to represent GSK and assist with speaker training events.
• Partner with sales, marketing, market access, and other cross-functional colleagues on patient- and business-focused strategies.
• Pharm.D., Ph.D., DNP, or MD with a focus in medicine or clinical practice.
• A minimum of two years' experience in pharmacology and pharmacotherapy in human subjects.
• Demonstrated experience in applying pharmacology and pharmacotherapy knowledge in a clinical environment.
• Must reside within the designated territory.
• Preferred residency or post-doctoral training in a clinical or pharmaceutical practice environment.
• Pharmaceutical industry or medical liaison experience is preferred.
• Experience in a specific therapeutic area is advantageous.
• Prior clinical experience with direct or indirect decision-making authority for patient care is preferred.
• Above-average computer skills and familiarity with software applications are preferred.
