This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana, +3 more states.
β’ Execute the external engagement strategy in alignment with the therapeutic portfolio.
β’ Implement the external engagement plan in accordance with therapy area strategies.
β’ Identify key External Experts, professional groups, decision-makers, and stakeholders.
β’ Responsibly address unsolicited medical information inquiries.
β’ Share critical safety information with healthcare professionals.
β’ Engage in scientific discussions with healthcare professionals regarding appropriate medicine utilization.
β’ Present scientific data and pipeline information to formulary committees and healthcare professionals.
β’ Maintain up-to-date knowledge in the evolving scientific and therapeutic areas as well as competitor medications and vaccines.
β’ Participate in and contribute to regional account planning and training sessions.
β’ Attend national and regional scientific/medical conferences to gather insights from the medical voice of the customer.
β’ Support GSK and investigator-initiated clinical development activities while enhancing site performance with R&D personnel.
β’ Provide insights on GSK research interests and respond to inquiries about investigator-sponsored research.
β’ Meet with members of steering committees, advisory boards, consultants, and clinical research investigators.
β’ Deliver scientific training to GSK sales representatives.
β’ Educate healthcare professionals to represent GSK and assist in organizing speaker training events.
β’ Collaborate with sales, marketing, market access, and other cross-functional colleagues on strategies focused on patients and business.
β’ Pharm. D, Ph. D, DNP, or MD with a focus on medical or clinical studies.
β’ A minimum of two years' experience in pharmacology and pharmacotherapy in human applications.
β’ Practical experience applying pharmacology and pharmacotherapy knowledge within a clinical environment.
β’ Must reside within the designated territory: Northern Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Mississippi, or Louisiana.
β’ Preferred residency or post-doctoral training in a clinical/pharmaceutical practice setting.
β’ Experience in the pharmaceutical industry or as a medical liaison is preferred.
β’ Familiarity with a specific therapeutic area is preferred.
β’ Previous clinical experience showing direct or indirect decision-making authority in patient care is preferred.
β’ Above-average computer skills, including proficiency with software applications, are preferred.
