This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Execute the external engagement strategy aligned with the therapeutic portfolio.
• Implement the external engagement plan in accordance with therapy area strategies.
• Identify External Experts, professional groups, decision-makers, and other stakeholders within the assigned therapy area or geography.
• Respond in compliance with unsolicited information requests pertaining to GSK medicines and indications.
• Disseminate critical safety information to healthcare professionals.
• Conduct scientific exchanges with healthcare professionals regarding the appropriate use of medicines.
• Deliver scientific and pipeline presentations to formulary committees and healthcare professionals.
• Maintain expertise in the evolving scientific and therapeutic landscape as well as competitor medicines and vaccines.
• Attend and contribute to regional account planning and training sessions.
• Participate in national and regional scientific and medical meetings.
• Support clinical development activities, GSK and investigator-sponsored studies, as well as site performance improvement.
• Provide insights into GSK's research interests and address inquiries regarding investigator-sponsored research projects.
• Facilitate discussions and meetings with steering committee members, advisory board members, consultants, and clinical research investigators.
• Offer scientific training for GSK sales representatives utilizing approved materials.
• Train healthcare professionals to represent GSK and assist with speaker training events.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, market access, and other matrix colleagues on patient- and business-focused strategies.
• Pharm. D or Ph. D, DNP, or MD with a medical or clinical focus.
• A minimum of two years' experience in pharmacology and pharmacotherapy in humans.
• Demonstrated experience in applying pharmacology and pharmacotherapy knowledge in a clinical setting.
• Must reside within the specified territory.
• Residency or post-doctoral training in a clinical or pharmaceutical practice setting is preferred.
• Experience in the pharmaceutical industry or as a medical liaison is preferred; specific therapeutic area expertise is a plus.
• Previous clinical experience indicating direct or indirect decision-making authority for patient care is preferred.
• Above-average computer literacy, including familiarity with software applications.
• Qualified candidates may be considered for the Senior MSL role.
