Field Engineer, Cloud Infrastructure

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Belgium.

📋 Description

• Collaborate directly with clients to successfully onboard and transition complex infrastructure to Unikraft Cloud.

• Diagnose, enhance, and ensure the performance and dependability of customer deployments.

• Utilize your practical expertise in Docker, Dockerfiles, and Linux systems to support and scale infrastructure effectively.

• Create and sustain efficient CI/CD pipelines to facilitate seamless deployment and integration.

• Serve as a trusted consultant, guiding clients through the complexities of next-generation cloud infrastructure.

• Work collaboratively across teams with product and engineering to integrate customer insights into our development roadmap.

⛳️ Requirements

• Significant experience with containers (Docker, Dockerfiles), Linux, and CI/CD pipeline design.

• Strong debugging and optimization capabilities with a focus on customer satisfaction.

• Ability to work comfortably with both technical and non-technical teams.

• Quick learner with the adaptability to work with various runtimes, build systems, and programming languages (Rust, Node, Go, Python, C++, etc.).

• Knowledge of OCI standards, QEMU/KVM, Firecracker, Cloud-Hypervisor, along with direct experience in customer-facing roles.
