This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York, +1 more state.
• Oversee daily internal and field service operations for relevant products.
• Provide technical support during staffing shortages when necessary.
• Establish daily and short-term priorities for technicians, balancing customer obligations, capacity, and operational objectives.
• Ensure consistent implementation of installation, calibration, testing, repair, and packaging procedures.
• Lead, mentor, and develop both internal and field service teams.
• Manage career development, onboarding, and skills enhancement planning.
• Address performance issues through constructive feedback, coaching, and necessary corrective measures.
• Promote collaboration among internal services, field services, and cross-functional teams.
• Assist in customer and channel partner escalations and provide technical training.
• Prepare, implement, and follow up on internal service audits and corrective actions.
• Ensure service documentation, reporting, and records comply with regulatory, safety, and quality standards.
• Analyze service performance data and initiate corrective actions, retraining, or process enhancements.
• Own key performance indicators (KPIs) for internal and field service teams.
• Allocate resources and modify staffing levels in collaboration with peer supervisors and functional leaders.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Maintenance to resolve technical challenges.
• Address operational and personnel issues, identify root causes, and lead effective corrective actions.
• Willingness to travel 20%-30% of the time.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in service, manufacturing, or related technical fields involving electro-mechanical systems.
• Proven leadership or supervisory experience in service or operational settings.
• Strong advanced troubleshooting, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities in both internal and field environments.
• Comprehensive knowledge of service workflows, quality systems, safety protocols, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Proven track record of accurately documenting service activities, audits, and corrective actions consistently.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Physical capability to support service tasks as required.
• Willingness to travel 20%-30% of the time.
