This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on base building systems such as HVAC, electrical distribution, plumbing, dock equipment, and components of the building envelope.
• Travel regularly between assigned facilities to implement maintenance strategies, conduct inspections, and perform repairs.
• Serve as the main technical owner for facility infrastructure systems within the designated district.
• Identify equipment and system deficiencies, determine suitable corrective actions, and carry out or coordinate necessary repairs.
• Carry out routine facility inspections and rounds to identify potential risks, compliance issues, and deferred maintenance needs.
• Oversee, dispatch, and supervise contractors and service vendors, ensuring quality checks, scope verification, permit compliance, and adherence to safety standards.
• Maintain precise CMMS documentation, including work orders, inspections, asset history, and follow-up actions.
• Act as the first point of escalation for facility-related issues and emergencies, coordinating response efforts to safeguard personnel, assets, and operations.
• Support facility uptime during high-demand operations, critical events, and emergency situations.
• Carry out minor mechanical, electrical, or conveyor repairs as needed to maintain operations until specialized assistance arrives.
• Regularly communicate with operations leadership, safety teams, and district management regarding facility conditions and priorities.
• Ensure adherence to all LGSTX, customer, OSHA, local, state, and federal safety and regulatory standards.
• High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
• A minimum of three to five years of experience in facilities maintenance, building engineering, or industrial maintenance is required.
• Proven experience in supporting comprehensive building systems.
• Experience in coordinating contractors and service providers across multiple locations is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is necessary.
• Familiarity with HVAC systems, including RTUs, split systems, and exhaust equipment.
• Knowledge of electrical distribution systems, including lighting, panels, receptacles, and lockout/tagout procedures.
• Understanding of plumbing systems and domestic water infrastructure.
• Experience with dock door and dock leveler maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Capability to read blueprints, schematics, one-line diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Proficiency in CMMS platforms and basic computer applications.
• OSHA or equivalent safety training is preferred.
