Fabricator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Fabricate orthotic and/or prosthetic devices in accordance with the Company’s quality and quantity standards.

• Maintain tools, equipment, and materials effectively.

• Adhere to work instructions for each device within the designated work area.

• Assist with inventory tasks, including ordering and receiving, as assigned.

• Uphold 5S standards to ensure a safe, clean, and organized work environment.

• Comply with safety regulations and OSHA requirements.

• Complete HIPAA and other regulatory compliance training provided by Hanger, Inc.

• Engage in on-the-job and formal O&P training as directed by leadership.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED; no prior experience necessary.

• Alternatively, if lacking a diploma/GED, 1 year of relevant experience in O&P settings is acceptable.

• Preferred: less than 1 year of related experience in machinery, tools, woodworking, design, fabrication, or componentry environments.

• Possess the knowledge and manual skills required to fabricate and repair prostheses and orthoses per specifications.

• Demonstrate mechanical aptitude and hand-eye coordination to safely and effectively utilize laboratory tools.

• Exhibit strong organizational, time management, and planning skills.

• Possess good interpersonal and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to function effectively as part of a team.

• Capacity to acquire job skills and learn company policies and procedures.

• Ability to act with integrity and maintain respectful relationships.

• Focus on patient-centered outcomes and adapt to changes as necessary.
