External Contractor – iOS Development Mentor, SwiftUI, SwiftData

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Offer technical assistance to students via an online community forum.

• Respond to inquiries regarding course material on the forum and provide guidance for students facing challenges in their learning.

• Conduct one live virtual session each week to deliver direct, real-time support to students.

• Guide learners to the appropriate support resources and escalate concerns to the Mentor Operations team when necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in English, both written and spoken.

• Eligibility Criteria: Mentors should possess a minimum of 7 years of industry experience or hold a master’s degree in a relevant field.

• Technical expertise in Swift Programming Language (including advanced topics such as Protocols, Generics, and Error Handling), SwiftUI for developing modern, declarative iOS user interfaces, SwiftData and/or Core Data for effective data persistence and state management, iOS Networking, Concurrency, and Application Authentication protocols, Xcode environment, and the entire iOS application lifecycle.

• Graduating from a Udacity Nanodegree Program is a valuable advantage.

• Experience in teaching technical subjects and public speaking, as well as organizing technical presentations or webinars.

• Possess a positive demeanor, earning the trust of students and fostering emotional connections within the group.

• Availability in their current role to undertake this opportunity part-time as an external contractor.
