Senior iOS Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Design, scale, and sustain native iOS applications using Swift, utilizing both SwiftUI and UIKit to create exceptional mobile experiences.

• Develop and improve contractor-facing workflows encompassing essential features such as job scheduling, digital documentation, client contact management, mobile payments, and subscriptions.

• Optimize and maintain the current mobile application architecture while delivering clean, scalable, and highly maintainable software solutions.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product, Design, Backend, Android, and Web engineering teams to ensure feature alignment and seamless API integrations.

• Conduct thorough code reviews, promote mobile engineering best practices, and engage in technical decision-making and architectural discussions.

• Troubleshoot complex production issues, analyze application performance, and systematically resolve bottlenecks to guarantee outstanding app stability.

• Develop and sustain comprehensive automated tests while meticulously documenting technical architecture decisions and implementation details.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of focused experience in native iOS development, building and maintaining production-grade mobile applications.

• Profound, hands-on expertise in Swift, including the creation of robust user interfaces with both SwiftUI and UIKit.

• Strong grasp of mobile architecture patterns, particularly MVVM, with experience in implementing clean Dependency Injection.

• Proficient in asynchronous and reactive programming paradigms using tools like RxSwift, Combine, or modern Async/Await.

• Extensive experience linking mobile clients to backend systems via REST APIs and managing networking layers effectively.

• Solid understanding of testing frameworks (such as XCTest) and expert navigation of Xcode for mobile debugging and performance enhancement.

• Practical experience with mobile CI/CD pipelines, version control, and maintaining codebases adhering to established architectural standards.
