Senior Engineer – iOS

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the iOS experience for the Smart Irrigation Controller, Smart Hose Timer, and Smart Lighting, ensuring a unified design language and information architecture across these three interconnected hardware products.

• Collaborate with Product Managers, designers, firmware engineers, and backend engineers to facilitate the ideation and execution of new product and feature launches.

• Manage device provisioning, pairing, and control flows over Wi-Fi and BLE, prioritizing reliability over novelty.

• Establish the architectural framework that enables platform concerns (such as connectivity and device state) and product concerns (like UX and AI features) to evolve independently.

• Promote the adoption of AI tools within the team, focusing on evaluation of AI outputs and the continuous instrumentation of our systems for AI integration.

• Work independently within a small, high-trust team while effectively managing your own priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.

• Ensure that new features and hardware products are effectively integrated into the mobile experience for our customers.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree with a duration of 4 years.

• At least 7 years of professional experience in iOS development, with examples of published applications in the App Store.

• Strong foundation in Swift, including concurrency, protocol-oriented design, and modern async patterns.

• Experience with Reactive Programming frameworks such as RxSwift and/or Combine.

• Proven proficiency with AI coding tools (such as Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, or similar), seamlessly integrated into daily workflows.

• Experience in integrating iOS applications with backend services and successfully launching through App Store Connect.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• A keen sense of design: you have a strong passion for how the app looks, feels, and performs.
