Expert for Risk and Benefit Assessment in Life Insurance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Austria.

📋 Description

• Provide advisory support to operational units regarding medical professionals in the areas of application, policy, and claims assessment.

• Evaluate complex biometric risks.

• Analyze and interpret medical records, creating well-founded expert opinions.

• Offer technical support in escalation and dispute cases in conjunction with Legal and external partners.

• Collaborate with reinsurers on intricate underwriting issues.

• Engage in product modifications, product development, and the implementation of regulatory mandates.

• Contribute to the advancement of automated underwriting processes.

• Develop AI agents to effectively process and prepare pertinent documents.

• Review and enhance medical content.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree or vocational training in insurance, business, or medical/natural sciences.

• Several years of experience in medical risk or claims assessment specifically within life insurance.

• A solid understanding of medical contexts and biometric risks.

• High affinity for IT and a keen interest in AI-driven applications.

• Strong product and process knowledge in the life insurance sector.

• Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with relevant systems.

• A structured and meticulous working style along with excellent writing skills for technical documentation and customer correspondence in German.
