Experienced Sales Executive, Fraud Intelligence

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the entire sales process from initial outreach to closing deals with designated target accounts in the fintech fraud and ad tech fraud sectors.

• Develop and oversee a list of over 50 high-potential market targets, maintaining discipline through research, prioritization, sequencing, and proactive engagement.

• Create a sales pipeline at major industry events — MRC, Money20/20, TAG, ad:tech — by conducting thorough pre-show research, engaging on the floor, and ensuring disciplined follow-up.

• Structure and negotiate intricate OEM commercial frameworks and embedded data agreements within fraud platforms, fintech firms, and ad tech companies.

• Analyze competitive dynamics within your target sectors — identifying integrations, competitors, and how IPinfo enhances or replaces existing solutions.

• Monitor emerging fraud trends and understand how IP intelligence signals align with them, staying ahead of buyer needs.

• Work closely with the Manager of Strategic Markets on account prioritization and event planning.

• Collaborate with team members on account strategy and share market insights across the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in full cycle outbound sales — successfully opening and closing deals without support from a BDR.

• Proven track record of closing deals ranging from $100K to $500K ACV; experience with OEM or embedded data deals is highly desirable.

• Consistent achievement of sales quotas over multiple years.

• Coverage of the US market or focused on the US market.

• Demonstrated success in generating pipeline through conferences.

• Ability to independently structure complex OEM deals — comfortable with negotiations involving multiple stakeholders.

• Able to engage both technical buyers (such as heads of data or data engineering) and commercial buyers (such as heads of product or VP of Fraud) within the same sales process.

• Proficient in CRM systems and disciplined in pipeline management — accurate forecasting is required.

• Preferred background in data, API, or intelligence products; SaaS experience is also acceptable.

• Ambitious and driven — seeks to build rather than manage an existing portfolio.

• Intellectually curious: genuinely interested in understanding the workings of fraud ecosystems, data stacks, and market dynamics.

• Focuses on building long-term relationships rather than mere transactions — thinks in terms of accounts and multi-year revenue generation.

• Strategic mindset — targets and secures accounts that open new revenue-generating verticals in addition to ACV.
