
Executive Flight Deck Leader – RPCA Part Family

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Collaborate in the formulation and implementation of the growth strategy for the RPCA part family.
• Create and carry out a lean transformation strategy for the RPCA part family.
• Propel lean transformation efforts within GE internal shops, joint ventures, and key suppliers.
• Develop the lean capabilities of the leadership team.
• Offer guidance and mentorship to part family General Managers, plant leaders, staff, and in-plant FLIGHT DECK practitioners.
• Educate and train employees at all levels on lean principles and tools.
• Activate various management strategies including Value Stream Management, Problem Solving/Action Planning, Visual Daily Management, Standard Work, 5S, Operating Cadences, Kanban Systems, Production Preparation Process, and Pull Systems.
• Work collaboratively with the broader FLIGHT DECK community to foster a kaizen mindset, skillset, and toolset throughout GE Aerospace.
• Coach the part family General Manager on the fundamentals of FLIGHT DECK, including the execution of policy deployment.
• Identify and prioritize opportunities to eliminate waste, enhance flow, improve processes, and reduce costs.
• Engage in RPCA operating cadences and team problem-solving to achieve year-over-year KPI performance.
• Advise and counsel staff on matters affecting Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost.
• Convey business objectives and programs across various organizational levels.
• Manage one direct report and influence senior leaders both internally and externally across GE shops and strategic suppliers.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution.
• At least 8 years of experience in leading Engineering, Manufacturing, Sourcing, or Supply Chain.
• Willingness and ability to travel approximately 75% as required by business needs, both domestically and internationally.
• Proven experience in successfully driving change and transformation initiatives.
• Knowledge and practical experience in applying lean methodologies in both transactional and shop-floor settings.
• Capability to coach part family General Managers on FLIGHT DECK fundamentals, including policy deployment.
• Proficient in training employees at all levels in lean principles and tools.
• Strong leadership qualities, excellent communication skills, decisiveness, collaborative spirit, and effective expectation-setting.
• Must demonstrate status as a U.S. Person for access to U.S. export-controlled information: U.S. lawful permanent resident, U.S. Citizen, asylee, or refugee.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• A Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering is preferred.
