Executive Compensation Consultant, Expert Testimony Experience

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Assist in forensic engagements related to matrimonial litigation, which includes income analysis, lifestyle assessments, the tracing of separate versus marital property, and cash flow evaluations.

• Manage daily case workflow, timelines, and deliverables across multiple ongoing matters spanning various industries.

• Offer technical oversight and review work products to ensure quality and consistency.

• Participate in staff training and professional development programs.

• Stay updated on advancements in forensic accounting standards, trends in executive compensation, implications of family law and taxation in divorce, and pertinent case law.

• Provide thought leadership on executive compensation strategies, program structures, and incentive plan design.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in executive compensation consulting, particularly in litigious contexts.

• Bachelor’s Degree required.

• Testimony experience is mandatory.

• Proven experience in managing engagements and supervising junior staff.

• Required exposure to expert witness roles and family law proceedings.

• Excellent analytical, writing, and communication abilities; capacity to simplify complex financial insights for legal professionals.

• Competence in reviewing and synthesizing substantial amounts of complex information and documentation.

• Capability to draft written reports and present clear, concise, and defensible opinions.

• Comfortable presenting findings and offering testimony in depositions, arbitration, or court environments.

• Ability to perform well under pressure, especially in adversarial or high-stakes situations.

• Maintain professionalism, composure, and credibility when faced with questioning or challenges.

• CPA is highly preferred but not essential; compensation credentials such as CCP, CECP, etc., are strongly preferred or should be actively pursued.

• Master’s Degree is preferred.
