📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes for extracting, transforming, and loading data across various systems and platforms.

• Collaborate with business analysts, data architects, and other stakeholders to gather requirements, ensuring that solutions align with business objectives.

• Create and optimize data pipelines for effective data movement and transformation, while guaranteeing scalability and performance.

• Construct data integration workflows utilizing tools available in the AWS suite of cloud applications.

• Conduct data validation, profiling, and cleansing to maintain data accuracy and integrity.

• Implement best practices for data integration, security, and governance, ensuring adherence to federal regulations.

• Troubleshoot and resolve data integration challenges, providing continuous support for production systems.

• Document data flows, system processes, and technical specifications to facilitate development and maintenance.

• Work with and transform x12 healthcare claims-related transactions.

• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

• Undertake additional tasks and responsibilities as required to support team goals and ensure project success.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.

• Over 3 years of experience in ETL development and data integration projects.

• Proficient in AWS Cloud tools/products.

• Strong background in SQL, relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server), and data modeling.

• Familiarity with ETL patterns and best practices for data processing and x12.

• Knowledge of cloud-based data services such as AWS Glue.

• Excellent problem-solving skills with the capability to debug and optimize complex data workflows.

• Experience with Federal IT projects or large-scale data migration initiatives.

• Understanding of big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka.

• Proficient in scripting languages like Python or R for data transformations.

• Certification in data integration tools or cloud platforms.

• Ability to obtain government clearance.
