Essay Editor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• We are seeking part-time, skilled essay editors to assist high school students.

• Offer comprehensive, constructive feedback to enable students to stand out from other competitive applicants through their unique voice in their essays.

• Edit numerous essays during the admissions cycle, especially from August to January each year.

• Claim essays and submit edits within a 24-hour period.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree (Master's degree preferred) in English, Creative Writing, Journalism, Communications, or a related discipline.

• Graduated from a top 50 university in the United States.

• Experience in college admissions is preferred but not mandatory.

• Previous experience in editing, tutoring, or coaching writing, ideally with high school students.

• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and active listening abilities.

• Capability to provide constructive feedback in a supportive, empathetic, and non-judgmental way.

• Patience and understanding for students navigating the college application process.

• Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
