📋 Description

• Define, structures, and leads the implementation of the Data Governance model, taking into account the maturity level of the environment while evolving practices, processes, and tools.

• Develops and implements governance frameworks utilizing native cloud tools (GCP and AWS), such as Dataplex, Data Catalog, BigQuery, and their AWS equivalents (Lake Formation, Glue Data Catalog, Athena/Redshift), ensuring scalability and standardization.

• Ensures compliance with LGPD, focusing on access control (IAM), data masking, and management of sensitive information.

• Structures and evolves the corporate data catalog, promoting the discovery, understanding, and efficient use of data by business areas and technical teams.

• Implements and monitors data quality processes (Data Quality), with continuous monitoring and definition of metrics (completeness, consistency, accuracy, etc.).

• Maps and documents data lineage, from source systems (LMS, academic ERPs) to analytical layers and dashboards, using resources like Dataplex/Data Catalog (GCP) or Glue/Lake Formation (AWS).

• Acts consultatively as a bridge between business and technology (Academic, Marketing, etc.), defining data dictionaries, business rules, and indicators.

• Leads initiatives for structuring Data Warehouse and metadata, utilizing solutions like BigQuery (GCP) or Redshift/Athena (AWS).

• Proposes and monitors a governance evolution plan, including the prioritization of initiatives, implementation, and measurement of value for the business.

• Supports the use of data and AI/Analytics initiatives, ensuring the quality, governance, and reliability of the data used.

⛳️ Requirements

• Solid experience in Data Governance, with strategic involvement in defining and evolving frameworks and processes.

• Practical experience with cloud (GCP and/or AWS), including: GCP: BigQuery, Dataplex, Data Catalog and AWS: Lake Formation, Glue (Data Catalog and ETL), Athena, Redshift.

• Knowledge of access control (IAM) in cloud environments (GCP IAM and/or AWS IAM), with a focus on security and data governance.

• Proficiency in DAMA-DMBOK or similar governance frameworks.

• Strong experience with Data Quality, defining rules, metrics, and continuous monitoring.

• Experience with data modeling, Data Warehouse, and metadata management.

• Ability to utilize advanced SQL for audits, integrity validations, and analyses in Data Warehouse.

• Experience with Row-level security and Column-level security (especially in BigQuery, Redshift, or equivalent tools).

• Experience in defining data lineage and end-to-end traceability.

• Ability to operate consultatively, connecting data to value generation for the business.

• Experience or knowledge in academic flows (enrollment, dropout, grades, recruitment) will be considered a differential.
