This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina, +2 more states.
• Conduct comprehensive forensic investigations into structural failures and construction defects.
• Execute site inspections and collect pertinent data to facilitate forensic analysis.
• Apply engineering principles and methodologies to examine and evaluate structural concerns.
• Draft clear and succinct technical reports that detail findings and conclusions.
• Provide expert testimony in legal matters when necessary.
• Remain updated on industry trends, regulations, and standards pertaining to structural engineering.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Licensed Engineer Intern (EI or EIT) is preferred, or the ability to obtain licensure.
• Willingness to travel several days each week, including local and regional air travel.
